Situation: Tech support fixes your database and emails it back to you. This is what to do next.

  1. Determine location of your current database.
  2. Close HICSOAP
  3. Rename the file determine in Step 1. For example, if it is c:\HicSoapPro\Data\HicDatabase.hdf then you could rename it to c:\HicSoapPro\Data\HicDatabase - old and replace YYYY-MMM-DD.hdf
  4. Download the database file that tech support sent you.
  5. Move the downloaded database file to the exact location and file name that you determined in STEP 1.
  6. Start HICSOAP.

These steps will replace your old database with the new database that tech support sent you.
