Use old Data
Situation: HICSOAP is installed and working but it doesn't have your data and you have a backup of your old data. The backup could have been created by STANDARD or by PROFESSIONAL or DELUXE.
This is how you use your data.
- Verify that HICSOAP is installed, working with a blank/empty database, and using the latest version. For help, consult INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS and UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS.
- Copy the backup file to your DESKTOP. For inexplicable reasons, there are sometimes problems when restoring from a backup file on a network drive or USB flash drive.
- Start HICSOAP, and then click MAIN MENU -> RESTORE. Then choose the backup file that you have selected in step #1.
