As of October 2018, the command line option for database repair is not functioning in the latest release. The only way to do a database repair is via the program's main menu. MAIN MENU -> DATABASE -> REPAIR
The program does not remove any data during the repair. The repair is done by a Microsoft provided utility.
The following is for historical purposes and is no longer accurate.
To do database repair without first starting HICSOAP,
- Click the START button in the lower, left hand corner of the WINDOWS screen
- Type "hicsoap"
- You'll see this. I added the red highlights.
4. Click HICSOAPPRO DATABASE REPAIR
This will do a database repair and then automatically launch HICSOAP.
